In 1982, Mr.Shad Vasigh received his degree in Architecture from Oklahoma State University, following an academic focus on European Cultural Studies and los Angeles traditional style of 1920’s . He began his professional work with Ambrose Associates, Inc. in Beverly Hills, California starting with the design of acclaimed Beverly Park luxury development project from Land Planning to Landscape Design to Architecture and Interior Design of many upscale homes of Los Angeles style stature.

A traditionalist by temperament and a modernist by training, Shad believes that the design must live and be timeless. His work is characterized by an inventive approach to design that encompasses the requirements of living and a response to locale. Shad establish his Design Associates firm in 2002 as a national as well as international design firm and continues creating luxury residences in southern California, indonesia and Singapore. In 2016, Ellie received her degree in architecture from Southern California Institute of Architecture, with a background in engineering, following with her training in China. She has worked on healthcare, commercial and complex residential projects. In 2017, Ellie and Shad merged their talents and created Atelier Shad Ellie as a residential design firm with a strong accent on Interior Design.

As a principal and under her leadership, atelier has flourished, expanding into new national and international markets, growing it's team and stretching the boundaries of its signature aesthetic. She believes in creating spaces that stand the test of time, by selecting design elements that can easily cross styles and evolve into new palettes. Her own design philosophy is built on the modern re-statement of classical principles to create seamless interiors that have an emotional impact on their occupants.
